The Nexcom VTC 1010 features the latest generation Intel® Atom™ “Bay Trail” E3827 CPU, 1.75GHz, combined with the Gen 7 graphic engine for higher graphic and multimedia performance. The unit is fully fanless based on a DIN compact enclosure and built to comply with MIL-STD-810G.

The VTC 1010 comes as standard with built-in CAN BUS 2.0B interface and optional OBDII (ASE J1939/ J1708), this can monitor driver behaviour in real time. There are Dual SIM card slots with the option to accommodate 2 x WWAN modules for increased bandwidth performance . In addition it is possible to install a 4 or 8-channel analogue video capture card for NVR and surveillance applications.

As with all Nexcom vehicle PC’s there is full vehicle power management with battery guard & ON/OFF time delay. VTC 1010 can be waked up by ignition or by Wake-ON-SMS or Wake-ON-RTC, allowing remote access at all times. Other features include a useful panic button, 3 x USB, 3 x serial ports and GPIO

VTC 1010 can satisfy different demands for a wide range of applications such as infotainment, fleet management, AVL, dispatch, driver behaviour monitoring and mobile video surveillance.
